Trial & Repeat are used to measure the initial adoption and ongoing viability of a new product.

Trial & Repeat are used to measure the initial adoption and ongoing viability of a new product. Trial measures the percent of households in a geography (usually a retailer or Total US) that bought a new product. Repeat measures the percent of “triers” who bought a product more than once.
