Promotional lift

The proportion of promotional sales that are incremental or beyond what are are expected to sell on a given week.

Also known more simply as lift, the proportion of promotional sales that are incremental or beyond what are are expected to sell on a given week. If you sell $100 on promotion and $80 was what you expected to sell, your promotional lift is 20% (100/80).
